KRAY L2: BIP-340 Schnorr at API and block seal, Merkle roots, hub block signature, Bitcoin OP_RETURN anchors. Gas is eternally 1 KRAY (integer). Treasury collects fees; validators are meant to earn from utility — not farms.
Every block is a fortress. Every signature is re-verified before it becomes permanent.
Every action — transfer, swap, NFT, withdrawal — is signed locally on the user's device using Bitcoin's own Schnorr signature scheme. The private key never leaves the device.
The signature is verified at the API level. If valid, the transaction executes instantly. The signature and signing parameters are stored alongside the transaction record.
Before sealing a block, the block producer independently reconstructs and re-verifies every Schnorr signature. Invalid signatures are rejected from the block. This is the cryptographic gate.
Verified transactions are hashed into a Merkle tree. The 32-byte root represents every transaction in the block — up to 850,000+ transactions in a single 512 MB block.
Any Guardian or Validator can pick up the sealed block and write the 32-byte Merkle root to Bitcoin via OP_RETURN. The validator pays the L1 fee but has zero special power — the block is already mathematically complete. They cannot alter, reorder, or censor anything.
If one validator doesn't anchor, another will. The math enforces everything. No single entity controls anchoring. The system operates independently — secured by Bitcoin's cryptography, proven by mathematics, anchored forever.
OP_RETURN does not store your Ordinal parent. It stores one Merkle root for the whole L2 block. Parent binding lives in the signed mint leaf under that root.
OP_RETURN payload size stays fixed: KRAY + block height + 32-byte root — whether the block holds one leaf or a million.
Click a leaf. Mint leaves carry file_sha256, parent_type, and parent_id in the Schnorr-signed message.
Each leaf hashes into a binary Merkle tree. Changing one byte of any leaf changes the root.
Any validator can anchor the sealed root. The L1 witness is the commitment — not a listing of children.
Mempool explorers show this commitment. They do not print every parent_id. Public L2 archive + Schnorr verification reconstruct the mint.

Math: mint still signs file_sha256 + l1_inscription + parent. Look preference is hub-only — outside Merkle / OP_RETURN.
Gas lands in the Treasury — the protocol fee account. Labels like Social Escrow, Dev Escrow, and Pool Escrow are human names for ledger buckets.
