Origin Layer Thesis

Not a farm.
A machine for builders.

“From Origin, With Honor.”

KRAY L2 keeps gas honest forever: 1 KRAY per action, zero decimals, no fee auction. Value comes from utility — creating, moving, verifying — not from draining rewards.

The eternal fee

1 KRAY. Always. Integers only.

Other chains sell gas in floating dollars. We made the fee a unit of work — so the market finds the true price of using the machine, not a manipulated toll.

KRAY / TX
Eternal · no decimals · no auction

Why this scares extractors — and frees builders

  • Spam costs a full unit of the gas token — never “almost free.”
  • No live base-fee lever to push ordinary users to $2–$4 per click.
  • KRAY’s market price discovers what 1 unit of L2 work is worth.
  • Treasury receives gas; validators should earn from real fees, not printed APY.
Proof of Productive Work

Earn by guarding what builders create

Anyone can become a validator. The point is decentralization of verification — not a casino for idle stake.

Create

Mints, collections, posts, apps — actions that leave a signed trail and cost 1 KRAY of attention.

Move

Transfers, swaps, listings, shares — real economic motion that fills blocks with utility, not empty claims.

Verify

Re-check Schnorr leaves, Merkle roots, escrow rules, solvency. Anchor sealed truth to Bitcoin. That is the job.

How the math works

Signatures → Merkle → Bitcoin

Honor is not a slogan. It is a pipeline you can re-run.

User (BIP-340 Schnorr) → Hub verifies + executes (store sig + params) → Block producer re-verifies every leaf → Merkle root + block signature → Any validator anchors root to Bitcoin (OP_RETURN)

Parent Ordinal binding lives in the signed mint leaf — not as plaintext inside OP_RETURN. Interactive walkthrough →

Named escrows vs hashed truth

SOCIAL_ESCROW, DEV_ESCROW, POOL_ESCROW_* and Treasury are ledger accounts. Explorer names stay human. Integrity lives in signatures, rules, Merkle roots — and, over time, published rule hashes so validators can challenge dishonest claims without trusting a label.

Treasury remains valid: it is the eternal fee sink. Gas is not “sent to a random wallet” — it is paid to the protocol fee account.

Levels of proof

What validators will check

A checklist for an inevitable, decentralized Origin Layer — reward tied to utility gas, not inflation.

Leaf Proven today Toward fraud-proof
Gas → Treasury User signed; +1 KRAY Fee policy committed on-ledger (1, decimals 0, eternal)
Transfer / NFT Schnorr + nonce + re-verify Merkle inclusion proofs for light clients
Pool swap User sig + AMM rules in hub Published AMM transition; challenge bad reserves
Social / Dev claim User signed claim; SYSTEM leaf rule_hash for escrow predicates
Guardian reward Producer policy from fees Reward only from Σ block gas; policy hash

KRAY is not yield.
KRAY is the right to use the machine. Validators earn by guarding it. Builders make it worth guarding.
